Match Results 28th March 2010

Hello all,
Please see the result, below, from yesterdays match. Fished in glorious weather conditions, the match produced very good weights and excellent sport for all involved.
Generally speaking, the roadside pegs fished better. Some excellent individual carp were taken to further boost, what already were, excellent nets of fish. Best baits on the day were pellet and corn.
Mike Brough took the honours with 55lbs 04oz followed closely by Alan Turton with 52lb 08oz. Keith Trimble brought up third with 34lb 02oz.
As matters stand - there are no firm fishing plans for Easter Weekend. However, I expect to have further information in the coming days. As soon as I hear - I will let you know.
See you soon,
Cheers,
Dave.

Welcome

My name is Derek Rowley, an Irish international angler who established Lakeland Fishery back in 1990. Our venue allows year round course fishing, with 3 lakes set in 15 arces in the heart of Irelands Lakeland. Providing everything for the discerning angler in a beautiful and peaceful setting, with the oppurtunity to catch most species in Ireland including carp, big hybrids, tench and bream. Matt Hayes of Sky TV visited the fishery and concluded that it offered challenging fishing for quality fish and, as such, adds another dimension to fishing in Ireland. The carp initially introduced have florished into specimen fish regulary being caught in excess of 30lb.
